Entrance to Lainston The bungalow is surrounded by a large garden in a secluded and quiet location.

Parking is off-road and plentiful
Open countryside is ten minutes walk up the lane
City centre is just over a mile : 30 minutes walk, 10 minutes in the car or bus
Access is by four steps. There are no internal stairs
Dogs and pets are not allowed
Families are welcome. Our home is not suitable 2 -3 year olds, but we can provide a put up bed for a younger child in the parents' room, by arrangement at extra cost
Smoking is not permitted by UK law
Internet by arrangement
Local and long distance walking and cycling is excellent with many off-road expeditions accessible from the front door!
Golfing is excellent with two nearby courses. Royal Winchester Golf Club is about 15 minutes delighful walk, and South Winchester Club is 10 minutes in the car
Horse riding is also locally very good, but we do not have stabling facilities!
Shops are five minutes walk: two Take Aways and a sit down Indian restaurant, with the nearest pub being 15 minutes walk
